Reiziger
Reiziger (Traveller) is a short film (HDV, 10'08") about two travellers. One, travelling from night to day, is looking for his biological father. After he received a letter containing the results of the DNA examination, he immediately departed. The other, travelling from day to night, is looking for a natural history museum where he wants to visit an exhibition about the first man. Determined he travels throughout the day to find the museum, occasionally looking at the invitation he has received. Despite his doubts about the address, he did not listen to the advice of a fellow traveller. The park, where he thought the museum would be, is showing greater than expected and the evening falls. In the twilight the passengers seem to come closer to each other.
Reiziger is about people who are looking for a story. About getting lost between day and night. About things that belong together, but will never find each other. Like beams of a lighthouse.
